Two wheels good, four wheels bad!

This is the actual bike I'm going to buy tomorrow!

OK, If you REALLY want all the technical info then scroll down a bit further and you can read it all, and see some more photos, but the salient points about this lumbering big old-man’s bike are as follow:

Unladen weight with full tank of fuel: 621lb (that’s over 44 stones!). So add to that the weight of a rider clad in full protective gear, and you're talking about the best part of 60 stones.

Fuel consumption: 60mpg

Top Speed: 121mph (ok that’s not all that fast compared with some cars, but have you ever travelled at that sort of speed without having lots of protective steel round about you? It's quite exhilarating!)

0-62mph acceleration: 4.3 seconds (so that doesn’t mean much – in comparison the stated 0-60mph time for both a 1989 Ferrari Testarossa and a 1997 BMW Z3 Sportscar is 6.2 seconds, a Lamborghini Diablo takes 4.7 seconds, and a Lotus Esprit takes 4.4 seconds. It’s fast!)
