Homelessness avoided!

With about three weeks to go before I am due to move house I've narrowly avoided having to check into the Great Eastern Hotel! For the benefit of non-Glaswegians who may never have heard of it, it's what formerly used to be known as a model lodging house. For the homeless. For a particular type of the homeless.

Anyway, apologies for the lack of postings, but I've been busy flat-hunting and I've been very lucky in securing a very nice one to rent for a while while I look about for the right place to buy.

All we have to do now is get to the "signing the legally-binding paperwork" bit of the sale of our house!
